Zaptec PLC Communicatie Module

De Power Line Communication (PLC) van Zaptec is een communicatie module die het lokale elektriciteitsnet gebruikt om een internetverbinding te maken met de laadpaal. De Zaptec PLC Communicatie Module is dus een communicatieomzetter die een bekabelde internetverbinding omzet, naar internet via het lokale elektriciteitsnet en hoeft er geen netwerkbekabeling naar elke oplader te lopen. Iedere Zaptec PLC Communicatie Module kan tot ~30 laadpalen ondersteunen. Er is minimaal één PLC-module nodig voor elk circuit. Monteer de Zaptec PLC communicatie module op een DIN-rail en let erop bij installatie om alleen aansluitklemmen gemarkeerd met L1-N-PE te gebruiken.

Hoewel de afstand afhankelijk is van bijvoorbeeld het netwerk-type, aantal laders en ruis van het elektriciteitsnet, wordt er aangeraden om de PLC-module zo dicht in de buurt van de laadpaal te plaatsen. De afstand kan namelijk de signaalsterkte kan beïnvloeden. De kabellengte mag max. 90 meter zijn.
