Our mobile chargers are designed for safe daily use and feature multiple built-in safety features, including:

• Temperature monitoring
• Leakage current detection
• Overload protection
• Surge protection

The safety features actively protect the charger and charging session during use.

Because charging via a power outlet depends on the quality of the electrical installation, you can manually reduce the charging current (e.g., 8A–13A) for extra safety with lighter connections.

1. Will this mobile charger fit my car?

Almost all electric cars and plug-in hybrids in Europe have a Type 2 (IEC 62196).
Do you have an older model with Type 1? Then you adapter a Type 1 charger or adapter .

2. What is the difference between Schuko CEE?

• Schuko standard outlet)
  Flexible charging via a standard 230V power outlet. Ideal for home, vacation, or as a backup charger.
• CEE (three-phase power)
  For faster and more stable charging via special connections:
  - CEE blue → 1-phase
  - CEE red → 3-phase (11–22 kW)

In short:

• Schuko flexible
• CEE = faster and more robust

3. Is charging via a standard power outlet safe?

Yes, provided that the electrical installation is in good condition and is used correctly.
Because power outlets can vary from home to home, we recommend using a suitable charging current or a fixed charging solution for long-term charging.

Preferably use:

• a properly connected wall socket
• no extension cords or reels
• a charging current that suits your connection

4. Do the built-in safeguards also protect my installation?

The built-in safety features protect the charger and charging session during use (e.g., temperature and leakage current monitoring).
The suitability of a power outlet or connection depends on the electrical installation itself.
For intensive home charging, a fixed charging solution is always the most sustainable choice.

5. Can I use a mobile charger at home every day?

Yes, many customers use a mobile charger every day.
However, for long-term or intensive home charging, we recommend a fixed charging station or high-voltage connection for maximum reliability and convenience.

6. Can I charge outside in the rain or cold?

Yes. Our mobile chargers are designed for outdoor use and have an IP rating (dust and splash resistant).

Please note:

• prevent plugs from lying in standing water
• Do not use damaged connectors.
• protect the control box during permanent outdoor use

For permanent installation, we recommend a protective holder such as the EVshield Original.

7. How do I know what type of connection I have at home?

• Standard outlet → Schuko
• Blue plug → CEE 1-phase
• Red plug → CEE 3-phase (11–22 kW)
